Scheduled Maintenance

Database Upgrade Nov 1, 2025 05:00-07:00 EDT

Scheduled - On Saturday, November 1, 2025 starting at 5:00 AM Eastern, Roundtrip will be unavailable for up to two hours due to scheduled maintenance. As part of our commitment to keeping our platform secure and up to date, we are upgrading our PostgreSQL database. The Roundtrip platform runs on PostgreSQL, a powerful system that quietly stores and organizes all the data it needs—like ride info, users, and payments—so everything works smoothly behind the scenes.

What to expect during this time:
You will not be able to access the Roundtrip portal, including booking trips and managing rides, rideshare rides will not launch, notifications will not send, and we will not ingest or process any data through integrations.

Rest assured:
We’ve scheduled this maintenance window during a time that historical data shows to have minimal ride scheduling needs and thus minimal impact on users and riders. There will be no data loss: All data from integrations will be safely queued and processed after the upgrade. We will also endeavor to minimize the downtime window to the degree possible.

What you’ll need to do:
We ask that rides are scheduled around this window in order to meet your operational needs. Outside of that, there are no other actions that need to be taken by you.

We understand any Roundtrip downtime provides a level of inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we make these updates with all users and riders in mind. If you have questions, email us at rideqa@roundtriphealth.com.

Thank you for your patience as we work to make Roundtrip even better for you.

All the best,
The Roundtrip Team

Resolved - All impacted Roundtrip services have recovered and system performance has returned to expected levels. AWS is updating that most of their core services have also recovered. We'll continue to monitor Roundtrip systems through the remainder of the AWS incident and through the evening to ensure proper operations.

At this time Roundtrip is fully operational again.

Update - Roundtrip remains in a degraded state.

We are monitoring core infrastructure, and the resolution of the underlying AWS incident. There are some early signs of some infrastructure components recovering - but the core issues persist. Roundtrip will continue to monitor and provide updates as they become available.

Identified - Roundtrip is still experiencing impacts related to the AWS outage. This outage is still ongoing. This incident was previously reported as resolved, however impacts to the Roundtrip platform have continued. We are experiencing the following impacts of this incident:

- General system performance is degraded affecting general website speed.
- We are currently unable to receive status updates for Zoll integrated rides. Though dispatching to Zoll remains operational.
- Our data warehouse is not currently able to be refreshed, resulting in stale data in the reporting layer.

Roundtrip's tech team is currently working with AWS to restore service fully. We will provide another status update as soon as more information is available.

Resolved - This morning between 3:21AM EDT and 5:21AM EDT Roundtrip platform services were impacted by an outage at AWS. This outage caused a major degradation of service - which primarily manifested through slow response times while using Roundtrip. This outage has been reported on via the AWS Status Page at - https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status.

Throughout the incident, Roundtrip operations staff monitored the outage and worked to ensure that we were prepared to take any necessary action to return operations to normal. However for this incident, there was no action necessary on our part, and our operations returned to normal when the underlying AWS issue was resolved.

At this time, there are no ongoing issues related to this incident and all operations have returned to normal. This incident is now resolved.
